Antonio M. Romanucci has long been a notable fixture in Chicago law, beginning as a Cook County Public Defender and now having served as a founding partner of Romanucci Blandin Law for the past 25 years. Mr. Romanucci has long been dedicated to pursuing justice in his community, taking on cases of police misconduct, class actions, medical malpractice, and mass torts. Mr. Romanucci is perhaps best known for working as co-counsel alongside Ben Crump in the lawsuit against the city of Minneapolis for the murder of George Floyd. Following this historic lawsuit, Mr. Romanucci was named Person of the Year by Chicago Lawyer in 2021 and was featured in Civil: Ben Crump; a documentary on Netflix about the case and other cases of police misconduct.

Mr. Romanucci’s skills and experience have also led him to take on numerous leadership roles throughout his community and nationally. This includes serving as president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association from 2019-2020, being appointed to the Executive Leadership of attorneys in the 737MAX case against Boeing International in 2020, and a wide variety of committees in the American Association of Justice throughout the years.

Additionally, Mr. Romanucci is often featured as a legal expert on local and national news, including New York Times, CNNWashington Post, CBS This Morning, Wall Street Journal, and Associated Press, where he comments on high-profile cases and legal trends nationwide. Furthermore, he is a frequent speaker at universities and conferences, often covering topics of civil rights and police violence.
